Someone recommended this to me after I told them I like Cloud Atlas (CA). I did enjoy it, and thought it was a clever premise and executed in an interesting way. I found the 'documents' didn't really work and it didn't transport me in the same way as CA, but it was a gripping read that took me along for the ride
